[help] When will Mac Mini be updated?

When will the Mac Mini's be updated with Intel processors? I'm interested in buying a mac mini but I'd like to wait for the intel processors.

I heard that with the next update they will be switching to Intel, so that's why I'm asking.

I heard powerbooks will be updated early 2006 and im guessing mac mini after that.

Im waiting for the imac update in late 2006 then ill buy a mac.

The current rumors online are stating that Apple will unleash new Intel based Macs at MacWorld next month. Considering that Intel should be releasing the new "Yonah" based (rumored to be marketed as "Centrino Duo") processors at CES the week before MacWorld fuels the specualation.

So far the rumors are stating that either the Mac Mini or the iBook will be first to recieve the Intel chips.

NOTE: none of this verified yet. It is stictly rumors and maybe completly wrong. However Apple always debuts/shows off its new toys at MacWorld. I am looking foward to seeing what actually turns out to be.

this is great news indeed because i plan on buying a powerbook sometime during spring, i cant wait for that. centrino are fast and energy saving processors so im also glad to see that the new mac's will be based off that. if anybody has any new news please do post it up.
