There is a TOP anchor in the footer, and always has been one there.

Do you mean like this? Because it does, I requested it to be added a long time ago in the aqua-soft skin thread. It's much easier to get back to the forum that way than by a ton of scrolling. It's just one of those small things about vB that seriously irritates me. :X
Hmm, not a bad idea. Screenshots get things done faster 
so I'll def look into it.

I'n not sure, but I included the breadcrumb-navigation into my ipb-board. It took me about 5mins to duplicate that part of the main template. Not sure, but vB might be able to manage that a similiar way (here: http://einserver.de/community).
