[Help] Start Menu icons

First i replaced shell32.dll and mydocs.dll with iceman's files but i had this stupid error and i couldn't open anything from the desktop, but used sys restore to go back. i still wanted a mac look so i installed flyakite's os x 2 pack, and everything is awesome except for one little thing, the start menu shows up without icons, search, my docs, config, the text is there but the little icons aren't... can anyone help me with this?

THX!!!

Unless someone has a more concrete suggestion, you could try to uninstall, reboot and then reinstall FlyakiteOSX.

I think installation of start menu icons is something you can choose (check/uncheck) during package installation. If you had failed to check it, however, I would think the default icons would be present. By your post, it sounds like no icons are visible at all, which seems quite odd.

No icons at all, at first they were there all nice but i had that stupid explorer crash and it bothered me so much 'cause i was working at the time so i restored everything back, but after sys restore not even the original windows icons were there...at the time it didn't bother me 'cause i had the flyakite pack so i thought that the osx ones would show up...but nop, no icons, and uninstall/reinstall won't change anything, suggestions?

i was thinking about replacing shell32.dll for another file from some other pack or something, thats where those icons are stored right?

it's no a big deal anyways, but it's one of those stupid "without a reason" errors in the allmighty windows...

if you come up with something, let me know...thx 4 posting!

Did you restart (again)? shell32 sometimes has problems right after the patching process.
