[help] Changing windows icons

I have two questions-

1. For those that have an ipod, when it is connected to your computer, does it show up with a ipod icon in my computer, or does it show up like a removable drive- i am asking because when i plug in mine, it has the icon of a removable drive and i guess i assumed that it would show up with a ipod icon

2. If yes then can someone try to help me figure out a way to fix this-i tried using icon packager but that changes the icon for all removable drives, which i dont really wrant to do-is there a better way to do this than that?
