It's not a graphical wonder, but it's something - my first real desklet for AveDesk 
The main purpose of this desklet is to help expand your vocabulary using Dictionary.com's Word of the Day RSS feed. It will update daily, and you can click the word/definition for a more detailed look.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. If you have a better idea for a graphical layout, let me know

Well it's not too original since I did take the idea from an OS X widget 
Dashboard downloads section is very nice place to have a new ideas. I successfully negotiated about widget port with one guy from there for a moment, he gave me a full permission. 
Yep, that's where I got the idea for the top iTunes songs
EDIT: Now that I know about the substring stuff, I can make a better version of this desklet... maybe after Christmas.
