PowerMac G4 Sawtooth: Burns Pentiums

I was looking backat some old apple pages and a came across this one - It says "At speeds up to 733MHz, The most powerful mac in history burns CDs, burns DVDs and burns Pentiums" Yet now apple are switching to Intel/Pentium themselves?

I can just imagine...

"Powermac P4 - At speeds up to 3.8GHz, It burns DVDs, burns Blu-Ray Disks, and burns itself whenever you turn it on!"

Just thought I might share this interesting page from apple....

EDIT: I noticed quite a lot of other old apple pages are all making the impression that Pentium suck. example: "iMac, still priced at an aggressive $1199, includes a Pentium-toasting 333MHz PowerPC G3 processor, 32MB SDRAM, 6GB hard disk drive, 24x CD-ROM drive, built-in 56K modem, 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet, two built-in 12Mbps Universal Serial Bus ports and more—plus Mac OS and a ton of great software. "

That's the nature of business...I'm sure it was hard for Mr. Jobs to, after years of using PPC, turn around and have to start using Intels.

On the other hand, one could say that the Pentium chip has improved by a large amount in that period of time, whereas the PPC chips haven't. I believe that was his claim, which prevented him from looking so bad. Not that the maker of the iPod could ever go bad .
