RkLauncher 0.4beta = final?
I think devel will continue until it is a 1:1 clone of the OSX dock with features surpassing it
There are still some bugs on RK launcher, not mentioning the plugins' ones (like gennie effect).
I think Raduking should publish the source code and let others to contribute for faster results.
i think radu is making a great job, he should continue in this way.
Maybe when the final version comes out, he could release the source code, but until now i think there is no need.
There was no .3 final and there probably won't be a .4 final as well. Don't worry about whether the tag of 'beta' is on it or not. Just use it!Because RK Launcher is still in development and not all requested features have been implemented I chose to call this release 0.4 Beta.
Was that iTunes bug ever fixed where everytime you closed it you'd get an additional icon in the dock?
And the show new applications icons, those would never save, were they fixed?
Where would one go to see a fixed bugs list?

Yeah, I think the thread starter isn't aware that rkdock functionality is still in beta stage and there's a long way to go before it's done.
Just open itunes and close it for a beginners example..

Well is the nightly build versions still continuosly updated?
And yes rk launcher has a hell of alot more bugs than you people think.
i might just be atracted to bugs but i find more than 2x the amount of bugs people claim there is.
and if you want a more stable program go for yz'dock or aquadock, but im sticking with rklauncher(for i am a beta tester

yea, 0.4 is still very buggy. some things need to be improved like the object dock and y'z dock compatability and effects.

But I get itchy when I think that rk dock has been at version 0.4 for more than 6 months now with no major changes. It is the best dock (by far) in windows that emulates mac dock, and development seems to be frozen. I start to think that it's because people started requesting ridiculous stuff like inbuilt konfabulator support, rss feed readers and the ability to boot linux.
All before the thing could even properly show and hide icons.

im not haveing any problems atm, im just saying its not anywhere near perfect yet.
