Problems running RK launcher w/ Taskbar

Ok i just Dl and installed the Rk Launcher etc. But im having problems opening up programs with the dock. The problem is when i try to open AIM My computer, Firefox, or any of these programs from my DOCK at the bottom of the screen, these programs do NOT open up on the DESKTOP, but instead they all open up minimized in the windows taskbar instead. And when i click on the windows taskbar application that i want, it does not open up but instead sends a black icon to the DOCK below. I am very happy with RK but i am very upset as i cannot open up these apps. Internet explorer works perfectly only because when i clik it from my dock, it openes up the page, and when i minimise it, it minimises in the dock. Unlike all the other programs. Can someone tell me what i should do? Im guessings its a taskbar issue of why they all open up thru there but you cant view em. PLEASE HELP my aim is liquidfire0012 im always on.
