Search the forums - I KNOW that it is on these forums. I'll look through my icons though.
why not make your own set?
Because copies never look as good as the originals, that's why.
Okay, I found it. Save you the search. Have fun!

sorry guys i did not explain well.![]()
this is what i mean.
look at this image
i want it to match the image below (the size and the blending, etc.), so that i can use it in sidebar link in my site http://thanthan.com.

sorry i can't create it because i am not good in photoshop.![]()
please include the psd.
thanks a lot.
I'll create one but it'll have to wait until later tonight (Australian EST) - the wife wants to spend some 'quality' time together. ![]()
thanks a lot bro. be waiting.
Just to let everyone know, I created those button images.
They are available as part of the readme file for my WordPress themes.
While they were only really intended for personal use...
...here's what i would do:

Hope that's what you were after ![]()
@Sranshaft I take it you're an Aussie too? We should talk sometime.
hey gtn,i don't know this logos are yours job
great
maybe you could make a new logo , aqua style for my site too
i mean for guistyles.com
i use this logo, 200x50 ->
it could be better, i know i just create the text by myself (hehe i mean from font and shading)
the sizes could be bigger, just to feat my page toolbar
thanx, and sorry to stick to yours topic ![]()
Hehe, the logo wasn't originally designed by gtn--he just created the mod.
Here's a link to the original release thread, without the icon in it, though. As you can see, it was created by Fer. Unfortunately, it's a dead link
.

The archives are fun to look through...
ahh well there you go...saves me the trouble ![]()
@gtn: I'm not an Aussie by birth - just a transplanted American living down-under ![]()
thanks gtn. but can you please give the psd? so that i can use it for another graphics.
thanks a lot
@ataleser: My base psd is really very, very, simple.
* Create a new file in Photoshop, 160 x 40 with transparent background.
* Delete 3 pixels in an L-shape on each corner to round the corners off.
* Use layer styles to do pretty much anything you like!
* You must have a 1-2px inside stroke border in the style.
* Shading should use a very faint top-to-bottom gradient.
* Remember to keep things simple ![]()
i do believe that i was the one who created the 'mod' or 'updated' version of fer's, the one we use at aqua-soft today
hehe. i released it in icon format a while ago..

@Lou: Don't suppose you've seen my take on your "Better Than Bliss" concept
(you know, the whole Bliss-in-Hermik's-style thing)

A little OT I know, I just wanted to check ![]()
bro, i can't make it my own.
please send me the psd. i teach me how to make the image look like yours. (not flat but look like emboss or something.)
thanks a lot.
Okay here is the file (Photoshop CS) - as simple as I could make it:
http://rapidshare.de/files/9626058/links-aquasoft.psd.html
3 layers:
- Plain text layer (Myriad font)
- Cropped logo layer (Aqua-Soft logo)
- Button base layer (Black rounded rectangle)
In Photoshop's Layers Palette:
- Layers 1 & 3 have a small icon next to the layer name. This indicates a layer style is in use.
- Double-clicking in the white space at the extreme right of any layer opens the Layer Style editor.
- Here you can add/modify effects such as stroke, drop-shadows & gradient-fills.
Tips:
- You can create 3d effects with soft 90 degree gradients to mimic bevels & reflections.
- There is a "Bevel and Emboss" style, but the results are pretty terrible.
- Shadow angle defaults to 120 degrees - set it to 90 degrees for a more "Aqua" look.
- Match your colors carefully.
- Crop images creatively.
- Make text big and readable - keep it at least 5px from the edge on the image.
Above all, experiment and keep things very subtle.
Good luck ![]()
I like the style of the logo in the last one - simple with a nod towards it's Aqua-Soft heritage.
Maybe combine it with the middle one by adding an abstract black triangle-arrow?
Well yes i imagine the last one with the arrow but i don't know how to do it in ps.
I am an 100% amateur ![]()
wow, that's what i need to know. thanks a lot bro,
merry christmas and a happy new year to you.
