This is one of, if not the, coolest game show on TV. I LOVE it! What do you all think about it?
Deal or no deal?
I love the way that it rewards greed-- just like the real world. Muchbetter than the Price is Right because you actually come away with cash (if you are lucky).
i like to tell my self that I would have the guts to go all the way to the end but in the end I think I would pull out with 3 cases to go.
this is also one of my favorite shows, it's way better than The Price is Right or Who wants to be a millionnaire, although i reckon it is pure luck to win some serious amount
but i just like it.
I saw about 5 min of it today, whats with the phone ringing and them showing a guy up in a dark room?
The dark guy is the banker. He tries to ass you out of the unknown value in the case by offering you money for it. His offers depend on what cash amounts are left on the board.
While I am amazed that they can stretch the show for a whole hour, it is nice for those statistics fans. I'm still working on the algorithm the banker uses.
The show hasn't been on long enough for you to get a good dataset... but I bet there's quite a bit of randomness in the formula.
just watched it last night.
stupid idea, but nevertheless interesting.
not as exciting as Trading Spouses: Meet your new Mommy!
ugh.. my mom is obseseed and she's like "OMFG GET JOOR CELLPHONE HURRY TEXTMESSAGE NOW B*TCH!!"
that old guy is disgusting... especially the whole commercial crap he does
that said i'd be glad with 10,000$$$$ :'(
I think that it's a really stupid show, to be honest. It is soooo damn slow, and I find that really annoying. They spread out 15 minutes of television to one hour just to keep people watching. The past couple of nights I only turned to it at the end to watch the people miserably fail - I like that part ![]()
horrible. haha the guy in the room made me laugh because it was so cheesy though
Oh give him a break (pun completely intended)... it's not his fault they have to go to commercials. And at least he makes it mildly interesting. How much do I really hate this show?I'll tell you... after the brake.
it came out in france a while ago, i used to watch it there and i never liked it, i still dont.
I'm telling you, they could do the entire show with one person in five minutes. Way too stretched out. If they made it quicker, they could do more contestants and keep people even more entertained. I watched it last night, and it goes so slow. Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if the banker is really an animatronic.

Yeah, it's just too much... but NBC was really falling behind. They know that they need **** like this to keep people watching ![]()
The British version is brilliant. You know why? Because it has Noel Edmunds... he's back from the abyss
But it's true, they do stretch it out quite a lot. And I always miss it because it's on too early, but I've seen a few times and I must admit the concept is great, and the people always get greedy and end up disappointed one way or another.
