Does any one know a good skin mocking the aero-glass effect windows vista provides...
I know microsoft has shut down alot of the good links, but I just got my hands on window blinds and have been toying around with it... sad to say but have come to love it...
But i'm really intressted in a GOOD GOOD AERO mock, from vista...
Can any one make a recommendation or help me out here, thanks for your time...
Wait for Vista 1.1 by Jemaho. MS may shut it down quickly, so keep an eye out for it.
this is pretty much what i get for waiting till the last second...
it's just like when windows xp came out, the day i went to the store to get it, there was no more...

I have searched and searched for a stray copy of KoLs VistaXp still lingering online, with no luck.
Those of you who got a copy of KoLs VistaXp, endure it, for thing of beauity that it is... Obviously it had to be something striking to call the attention of microsoft. Take your hat off, and truely enjoy something unique, and now rare.
I don't think any body has to be worried about getting kols theme,

dude, the theme was at least 3 months out, where you've been ? living under a rock ? 
Vista 1.1 by jemaho will be great but I'm sure MS is going to have it removed before you can say Vista

I was under the impression that Jemaho was done... (he did a limited release of his final vista?) I believe that it is against the rules to ask for this prohibited content (as you're also not allowed to ask for rips-- it's just not nice). As far as glassy-vista-esque themes go, i think arrow is pretty good, it might even be in your skin directory by default.
I dont like the 'arrow' theme. Kol's was pretty much 1:1..
yeah, I can't stand how arrow's buttons are a little too transparent. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next. sorry mate!

I sent an email to KoL, about his BANNISHED BY MICROSOFT, "VistaXp V3" being on file sharring networks.
I wonder if there's anything that can be done about that... and has it ever been done?
another thing i have been looking for is a folderviewing system, or explorer replacement that can give the look of VISTA, and functions... but it's very complexe, I have found some amiture ram hogging, PC crashing replacements that are very nice looking but function like a 133mhz computer...
linspire, has a developer working on a theme completely mocking the VISTA look, feel, and functions...

I wonder what this means for the future of aero/vista emulation? Is microsoft gonna come down hard on anything that comes close to mimicking their vista UI? Are they scared that if people can get the same look on their XP w/o Vista, then they're not going to buy vista? Isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery? Might it lead to some sales if people like the look? Might it be like free advertising? Microsoft should be worried that my next computer might be a Mac....
I couldnt find anything wrong with either themes. I would't call Arrow "Unimpressive" I liked arrow a little better because of the more simplisitc 'start' button, but to each is own.
I'm far from done and like some said, just keep an eye on me, you might never know.
look out for Jemaho definetly You always have surprises for us.. Savourspacemonkey is also doing a great skin with all the glass so it'll be nice just to wait for themmm

there is any preview of that skin. Btw, until now there isnt a ubber looking skin for wb5. The only that 'worth' was the Kol one and nothing more. The rest (after looking for awhile in wincustomize) nothing, nothing. A desert.
