Chilkatmail

I now have downloaded chilkatmail to work with aquamail, but now their latest version of chilkatmail is not free anymore. They have a 30-day evaluation period where they can email you the code and then the application you are using should prompt you for the code input. At least thats what their article said. But the problem is aquamail does not prompt for the evaluation code so there is no way to input it. Theres no way to tell chilkatmail that I have the code. So instead when I load up aquamail I get an error saying I need to activate the chilkatmail code, but they give me no way to activate it. This is very frustrating.

I heard earlier versions of chilkatmail do not require an "activation code". Will those older versions still work with the new aquamail or do I need the latest verision of chilkatmail to work with aquamail. If older versions will work does anyone know where I could get one??? Please at least point me in the right direction.

Guess not... ok nevermind then. I'll just have to live without aquamail, and with outlook express for THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the Chilkatmail difficulties. I've got an email in to Matt at ChilkatSoft to figure this out...I'll keep you all posted.

Ya jef, I just talked to Matt about this whole thing. I emailed him about the problem, and then he asked me who the developer was who wrote the application I was having that problem with, I gave him your link and he immediately knew it was you. So he said he would email you the problem right away and I guess he did! Anyways glad to know these things are getting fixed. He said it was something with the unlock component key. And this is exactly my problem. Just glad I could start this error fixer upper! Good luck jef! And great work!
