will the adding of album photoes destroy the mp3 file?

any1 know how the album photo is stored? does it store in the mp3 file?

because i noticed that after i add some album photoes, the mp3 file became bigger.

The important thing is how this will change the mp3 file.

i've also noticed that even u delete the album photoes later, the mp3 file will be slightly different

from the original mp3 file (i did the comparision by using some software not just looking at the size).

i want to know why there is a difference and what the difference is, any1 can hlep?

Stored in the MP3 file - the mp3 specs define a way to add albumart to a file, so in no way the MP3 file is destroyed.

I think the difference is because adding album art also changes the format of the ID3 tags to 2.x if it was 1.x.
