[Help] WB5 Problem

heyg uys something weird has just happend all of a sudden windowblinds 5 has stoped skining my windows eveyrthing turns balck and buttons are all over the place

I would try uninstalling wb, rebooting, then reinstalling it. If the problem still happens contact stardock.

I get the feeling we wil be reading a lot of this, it happened to me too and I think I might have some idea Well not really but it sucks bigtime. I will stick with 4.6 and screw 5. The per application feature was acting strange anyways, now the whole system is **** for me too.

Hmm, I got the same problem today, my start bar just disappeared and everything became incredibly slow. I just uninstalled WB and went back to VS.

My video card is an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, P IV 2.8 GHZ 512 RDRAM, XP SP 2. WB 5 was working fine for me and then started having issues for the first time today after I installed it over a couple of weeks back, then all this began today. Strange, thought I had a virus.

Free version for me after trying numerous times to get a different result, I gave up on 5

If your all using the free version that may be why, the free one isnt exactly AWESOME! I cant stand the fact that some of the stuff isnt skinned, partly why I bought OD.

Only the cracked version suffers from this problem. If you have the retail version and purchased it genuinely, contact stardock.

If you really insist on continuing to use the cracked version, set your system clock back to 1 day ago and tada! back to skinned windows. It's, in my opinion at least, well worth the very small price because it's probably the first time there's been a genuine improvement in skinning the windows UI since the uxtheme hack was first uncovered.
