Aqua-Soft ForumsHi, I'm just a lurker of this forum but im really stumped on how you can make ur taskbar curved out around the edges. for me its a Straight edged rectangle I know Ive seen alot of ur taskbars are rounded out around the edges. Please can someone help me? BTW I have Style XP and I have tried all the themes that seems to have the rounded edged but to no avail please. help thanks in advance.

thats surprising... its part of the theme..
first you will need stylebuilder and a graphics app that allows for 'magic pink' (255,0,255) or FF00FF. i personally use photoshop for this. now once you have stylebuilder and you open the theme you would like to change the taskbar for to be rounded you select that .bmp and edit it in photohop to have the edges turned into 'magic pink' and in the option of stylebuilder have transparency enabled and transparent color set to (255, 0, 255)
Here's something you might not have tried.
See if your monitor's dimension/size settings are right.
I'm talking about the hardware settings you can access via the monitor OSD.
Make sure your desktop (whatever is displayed) fits the actual monitor's visual area.
By that I mean the screen may be over-stretched horizontally so you can't really see the edges of the taskbar.
Some skinners doesn't use to round those corners when the taskbar is used at the bottom of the page (it looks wierd). At least, I don't use to, only when the taskbar is located at the top of the page you'll see round corners.
