Posting Misbehavior

I find it amusing that you closed my "Looking for Mac Bomb PNG" thread, Unbeliever. Before posting, I looked over the other areas, which all have descriptions that didn't quite seem to fit what I was requesting. Thus, I judiciously posted in the General area which says "Discuss anything that is not related to any of the other forums." Sorry I put so much thought into it.

Of course, I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for posting this message, either.

By the way, you should have used "Looking for members who..." not "Looking for members that..." when you wrote...

I really don't consider what I posted "flipping out." I'd prefer a mod move a thread that's posted in the wrong spot rather than trying to make an inappropriate, demeaning example of it. Moderators are supposed to have some tact too.

I considered posting in Icons and Cursors but thought the PNG question might not fit there. It was my second choice.

PNG are used as the universal icon format, it is compatible with every OS and has the alpha channel (something that JPEG's don't have). Otherwise, you would need to make an ICNS for Mac and ICO for Windows (*nix uses PNG methinks).

I deal with 30.000 members of this site daily so i do not have the time to be kind and helpful to each member. I do not need to justify my actions to each member as they are all based on simple and publicly available rules.

Making fun of my grammar is a great move especially considering english is not my mother tongue, but i'm not even going to go into that.

Maybe if you spent as much time looking as you spent writing this post we wouldn't have had this conflict?

If you have a problem with a mod here, please contact me and we'll work something out. But posting threads like this will not help you, will just get closed.
