[help] how apply skins on miranda

i have looked everywhere and i cant seem to find a tutorial on how to apply skins with miranda im .....i have spent countless hours trying to figure it out and still havent .......ive never seen an instant message program so complicated, and everyone post what their skin looks like but no one post a tutorial on how they did it......

I have found readme's in the skins folders but when i follow the exact steps it dosent end up looking the way i want it...

I know all about the tweak ui dll and the clist nicer and i did use them but my skins just dont look right , i must be missing someting

could someone please help me, i need a detailed tutorial on how to apply skins from a freshly installed miranda .

it depends on the skin. a lot of the cool skins need the clist_modern plugin (like adiumx and niqu). most skins should tell you which clist plugin they were designed for. hth.

I dont understand how all these people are making their mirandas like that but yet theres not intructions anywhere.
