Aqua-Soft ForumsI have followed the steps on the osx-e site to get Xp to look like Tiger.But it still doesn't look like the picture on the site which is the look I want. Does anyone know the tweaks I can do to make my desktop look like this one:
Still Not Right
depends on what your desktop looks like now....show us a screenie
Read the forum rules (especially those regarding the maximum allowed image size).
Look around, try different things and see what tweak suits you best.
You could start by moving the taskbar to the top of the screen (just drag it there) then move your dock to the bottom(im not sure what dock your using, so you shoud be able to figure it out) then find some themes for your dock. Next, you have some options. You can use Landvermasser's Finderbar Addon, or use Objectbar. Most other Finderbar emulators are not even worth considering (no offense to any of those developers.) Also, you might want to find a more accurate tiger theme (with the blue circle for spotlight). Then, find a better icon for your trash bin. Next, install AveDesk(in my opinion the best "widget" program out there.) Then, customize your dock to suit your needs. By the way, I would suggest using RKLauncher for your dock, I think it is much better than ObjectDock (this is what you seem to be using).
