I brought shapeshifter yesterday but i can't change the themes on ym desktop i need help! :confused:

did you install APE? and are you running a PPC box? because if its osx86 you just wasted some money. if not view the readme.
if youre on osx86 youre gonna have to get a cpu with sse3 capabilities for it to work. you can get a cheap celeron D for about $70 at the cheapest, but i would recomend one with hypertheading.
Shapeshifter does not run in OSx86 yet. Not even with SS3 or Maxxus patched SS2.
Once it is an niversal binary it will be ported to intel.
Maybe in January with the inel mac mini media.

I am on mac i have logged out and logged in again i did click apply what is x86 :confused:
x86 is an intel type processor. not PPC which apple currently uses. google it.
Well i dont think i'm on intel…no im not i am on apple 10.4 broadband!!!
Your question is really too vague for any of us to help you. Do you want to provide us with more details? For example, exactly what steps did you take in trying to apply the theme and what happened when you clicked Apply? Did you get any error messages? Did it freeze?
As a starter, access System Preferences and under "Other", there should be "Application Enhancer". Click that and is "ShapeShifter 2.2" checked on the left hand column?

O.k right well i had shapeshifter the demo but it expierd so i thought when i have a bit of money i'll buy it so i did i brought it i registered it ( and i did that exactly as they sent it to me ).
Then i clicked ok to register and it said sucessfull, then i downloaded a couple of themes for shapeshifter that would work on my mac, so they installed into the shapeshifter sucsefully.
But then i click on a theme that i have then go to apply changes it loads and everything but it just dont show it stays as my normal tiger theme…? :slant:
I have also gone into system prefs>application enhancer and shapeshifter is enabled!
try trashing the com.unsanity.shapeshifter.reg.plist from ~root/library/preferences, that worked for me (root not home)

it should work after registering again (i did it because i has invalid serial)
edit: assuming that you already paid for it, email unsanity.
I know i have to buy shapeshifter again it saying my version has gone(expierd) 
i guess i just have to do that!
what on earth are you talking about? Didn't you already buy ShapeShifter once ?
Try deleting the ShapeShifter Cache folder in your Library->Caches folder in the Home folder.
