sorry perhaps you misunderstood, i dont believe in copyright or intellectual property rights. Your work is excellent and you should not reproduce or change anything about it, if anything you have proved that you capable of producing work that is good as others, theres no harm that.
What you believe is one thing. What's (il)legal is another.
And it'd be fun to watch what would happen if you actually spent hours/days/weeks creating something and somebody came and claimed it for themselves without mentioning you.

That apple skin,i had delete it. And I draw a Vista new skin include the xdeskcal release file.
i think you did a good work, whatever was discussed in this thread, but 30 bucks are to much for me...so i prefer sunbird. this has not so much features but it's free.

Nice program. As for the website, I wouldn't change it. After all, as someone said RK's looks like Microsoft's, yet no ridicule there. Hell, the sources are not even the same. Someone always has to...maybe they could do the same to Microsoft for using freeware icons in a program that they are making money off of. :slant: Keep up the good work with the program. Looking forward to some new features.
I must say that you probably don't know much about websites yet I agree with you, the source does not look the same, because xdesksoft went through a "MSHTML 6.00.2900.2769" generator. They are, anyway, the same website with a few differences.

Hmm but the only thing i really miss...and i think that will stop me from buying it... is that there is no possibility to manage a week view... i have a lot of stuff going on in university (Lesson Plan for example) and there is no way to manage this... Sorry about that... I have iCal on my Powerbook... and its really comfortable for issues like this... Miss it for PC... The other features are really great... If i want to put my lessons into appointments... it really becomes horrible in all views

The Toolbar in XDeskcal is Milk Style,not use or copy the original skin graphics . Style is not by legal prohibition.
For example,Aqua-Soft Forums has a beatiful milk style~

Milk is an original skin by Max Rudberg (http://www.maxthemes.com/themes/?theme=Milk).
I believe the style is technically his intellectual property, and he has every right to have a say in how and where the "Milk style" is used.
For example, my iTunes skins LhA and Bister are made completely from scratch, but I have obtained permission from both original artists to imitate their style. On the other hand, a few people have contacted me asking for permission to release work in the style of Red Machine (my own original work). After previewing their work to make sure it is in the original spirit of my skin, I granted them permission.
Just email a few authors and ask for permission.
You'll find that in almost all cases they will be happy to support you.
If they have issues with the commercial nature of your program, you may want to consider having the skins a separate free packages.
EDIT: btw, I do appreciate the work you've put into actually creating the program. Good work!

AQUA-SOFT RIPS EVERYTHING FROM MAC
It's no difference if u rip something from RK_launcher, Max-Rudberg or Andreas V
Rips are rips... This guy just takes some buttons, buttons created by MAX RUDBER OR APPLE OR ANYONE ELSE... but also buttons which appear in every of these applications, themes, skins in here. They are round, glossy or milky and appeared a thousand times in here. Also the Buttons of AQUA-SOFT ARE DEFINETLY RIPPED. EACH ONE OF THEM!!!! Did they ask Apple? Did they guy who made the Miranda Adium Theme ask the developers of Adium? But no one cares about that!
Maybe its a little bit problematic to take money for a apllication which contains rips. BUT THIS IS HIS PROBLEM... because lawyers of Apple will be more interested in someone who sells this stuff...
BUT PLEASE... ALMOST EVERYTHING IN HERE IS A RIP because its mostly Apple style...
