[Help] Strange colour problem with D-Weather..

Hiya everyone,

Been using AveDesk and moreso, AveScripter since it was released but have had this slightly annoying problem with the D-Weather skin since I started using it (On my other machine I dont have this problem).

Other than the problems with the current avescripter with fetching data on startup and me having to manually update data, the other thing I have got is..

When Avedek and the D-Weather skin loads in it appears as the grey/black colour as i assume it should be. Once I have performed a 'update data' the skin changes colour slightly to a hint of purple instead. I have checked the 'Colourise' section in the desklet properties and thats turned off so I am guessing this isnt changing the colour. Does anyone know what is causing this and of course how I get it to stay the night blacky colour? This is what its like at the moment:

(I have tried copying the entire AveDesk folder from my other machine to this one, but I still get the same thing happening!)

oh.. just looked at the actual images in the skins folder and it is indeed purple in there! so, even more confusing to me now is how come on my laptop the skin stays 'black' but on my main box it goes purple?

The skin changes color depending on the "Time" of day it is.. if its night time it will be dark, day is lighter color.

As for the update of data problem. Have you tried the beta version to see if its better? I fixed a few things around updates.

ok guys, thanks for the reply.. strange how it doesnt appear to be working on the laptop then! anyway I wasnt keen on the colour chage so I just made it stay dark all the time.

I attempted to registed on the avedesk.org site about 5hours ago and am stil waiting on the confirmation/activation email. OnceI get that sorted i will go hunting for the beta..
