Aqua-Soft Forumswhenever I plug in my 5g ipod and open up itunes...I get a blue screen of death and then my computer restarts...any ideas why. Also, my mcaffee antivirus seems to be acting weirdly, so I uninstalled it and installed AVG instead.

There was a thread about this (or something like it) recently.
I dont know if it is related but there seems to be some incompatibility between mplugin and 5g ipods when updating libraries with album art. Could this be what is causing your problem?
I ended up having to uninstall mplugin in order to sync my library seeing as i could only get as far as 100 songs before it chrashed. I found that a full reinstall of itunes/firmware did nothing to help.
Can you please make that occur once more, and tell us what error message is given on the BSOD?
