Who here likes metal?

Yep thats my question who likes metal? (In the musical sense, style and material sense)

Its a totally random topic so this goes in the general discussion area.

I personally like metal in design....for example i would have liked it if they made the new ipods silver metallic like the extinct mini ipods so they would match the higher end mac machines.

I also like Metal music as well. Bands like Trivium, Disturbed, Spineshank, System of a Down, Killswitch Engage, Foriegn Objects, Roadrunner United (the album as it has like a load of people from many of the other bands ive mentions muddled up into sub-bands) Machine Head, Metallica (old but good), The 69 Eyes and Slipknot (i know i know i shouldn't but i do).

I also like metal as a material a bit as well as it was used to push my wonky teeth straight whilst i had braces (granted it was rather painful but it was worth it in the end).

Well now what do you guys and gals think of metal then?

I love metal too, also Killswitch Engage, and yes even some songs from Slipknot, but bands as Bullet for My Valentine, In Flames, Funeral for a Friend, Covenant, Misery Signals, etc, hit my stereo every day. It's not the only type of music I listen to, but surely the most frequent one.

In design terms Metallic does not get my appreciation, or maybe that's because I just have not seen a decent design with a metal-look yet. (Not to disturb with 'brushed' designs, themes.)

my fav bands are iron maiden m/, slipknot, black sabbath, bullet for my valentin, trivium, acdc, metallica, system of a down!!!

Even though im a hiphop fanatic i still listen to Metal every now and then. Im a huge HUGE 80's metal fan. Metallica, Megadeth, Iced Earth, Ratt, Poison, Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath (the good ol days of RR) Iron Maiden, Rhapsody, and the list goes on and on. Ive been a fan of Children of Bodom for years now, i love there style and they play there instruments with great passion.
