now that we have the source for docklets. It would be great if someone would add some code to the trash docklet so that if you drag a shortcut of a cd drive to the trash it would eject your drive. What do yout think?
Tweak The Trash Docklet
ya that would be smooth. i'm sure it can be done. just i have skill on how to do this... i dunno about ejecting floppies but cdroms...
Floppy will be a little difficult
there is not automated mechanism on legacy floppy drives
.
But well Zips and any removable media can do the trick
(besides standards floppy).
I think good idea is The Docklet hides the Windows RecycleBin.

You can hide the Recycle Bin with TweakUI. It's one of the Windows power toys. You can get it from Microsoft's site.
Taha.. how do you eject network drives? :ninja: ![]()

... and make it burn a CD R/RW, too!*
*either the way XP does it, or start a program, like Nero

I think he means unmap the network drives. On Mac OSX, Network drives are treated like other removable devices. and are unmounted by ejecting them with the trash icon in the dock. This even extends to FTP sites. ![]()
I know I was just kidding (Y)
