here is a simple desklet that works with avescripter to display your ip

as requested by madxcream

(Don't know if u care, but i linked the files to your site ave. i couldent login to my server. ill link them to mine when i can)

If your ip is in xx.xxx.xxx.xxx or xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx format it will be cut off :/

Would it be possible to change the size of fonts and to allign the text in the middle?

Linking to the files is fine with me, and I think it's also fine with pcm .

You can edit this in /Desklets/AveScripter/whats my ip/IP.xml to change some of the properties. For example, I changed the fontalign to Center.

hey, im in school at the moment so i cant upload to my server or change the file extentions. ive updated the desklet but ill have to wait till i get home to upload it.

also i cant seem to get it to work without haveing this code in it

maybe there is some detail i overlooked that makes it so i have to have this in there :slant: but i see no reason for it to be.

Any method is fine for me..

BUT if you find that a "feature" would help you or would have help speed the development of the scripter. Always PM more or post it. I don't mind adding stuff. the more requests from the scripter the better the engine will get.

I'm pretty busy still at updating the engine. My task list is HUGE mostly requests from Ave

well when i take away the controlles it works but not perfectly. on the controll panel it showes up as a black box and when i close it, it shows for a second when its closeing. i have the beta, but i dont know if its the newest beta. i upgraded when i submitted the radial skin to avedesk.org

BTW: is it easy to port stuff say from Kapsules to avedesk? I'm not a coder or anything, but I could learn if it's pretty simple.

ok updated the file. just incase u dont, you need lucidia sans for this skin to show your ip.
