It doesn't mean much, especially if the installer uses a proprietary compression algorithm for example.

Why does it need to be an exe anyway? Then we wouldn't even have to discuss antivirus issues.
The virus would still have to be uncompressed eventually, and the virus scanner would catch it at that step, STILL before any damage can be done.It doesn't mean much, especially if the installer uses a proprietary compression algorithm for example.

Yes... Hey please, it is just a bg for RKLauncher. So a bg it's so little, why not just a .rar or .zip ??? No exe needed for install it.

It is an EXE because I know that everyone can run EXE files. Not everyone can run RAR files, which is what I'd otherwise compress it as. And I've scanned it with 3 anti-virus and anti-spyware programs and it's clean.
Can we please discuss the theme, please??? I'd like some comments on the theme. If you honestly need it as a ZIP file and you're all on 14.4 modems, then I'll upload a ZIP of it, otherwise, download the install and comment!

Zipgenius is free, and opens .rar files with no problem whatsoever.
just zip the file....WinXP can handle ZIPS natively

You are right, I'm sure that not everybody knows what to do with a zip or rar file, but you can be 100% sure that everyone who has RkLauncher running knows at least how to unzip something.

Because when you get it from Raduking's site, you only get it in a zip.

Edit: Just tried it and I only like the "default" background bg3.png. And with that one the borders, especially the left one look strange to me. Sorry, can't describe what seem strange to me.
Gee, it's just a dock theme, make a zip for it if you have had done that we would be commenting on the theme not the .EXE
It isnt a matter of it being payware, its a matter of them not_having_it_installed. Calm down, it isnt the end of the world!
I would understand if this is a matter of not_having_it_installed if it was something from microsoft or another corporate manipulator, but for **** sake is all about free stuff (even open source) and not haveing a utilitty that handles rar files on your system is just bad bad. And i am very very calm.
Anyway, whatever! To much noise for almost nothing (i am not refering to the theme).
I only hope that we did not shake the artistic creation of u, nicholasheer.

We get it. I made a mistake. It's now available as a ZIP file. Get over it.

The other BGs in there are just leftovers from random tests. Ignore them, the default one is bg3.png and you can delete the other ones. The borders should be fine but if they seem strange to you, open the config file in notepad and alter the margins to appeal to you.

You know what? I like it! I already have the konfabulator-like theme, but i was in need of something more dark; and the shadow is nice!

Just downloaded this theme and OMG is it good looking. I've got glass icons on my bar and this just sets the whole thing off.
BTW if you can make a red glass one, I'd be in seventh heaven.
