[Question] GarageBand for Windows

What do you guys think would be the best application that works on a PC? I know GarageBand would be the best choice out there but I simply can't afford to get a Apple hence why I try and make my PC look like one I've tried FruityLoops and Traktor but what do you guys think is the best music making program out there? All I want to do is loop a beat and overlay recorded vocals on it.

I second using Acid Pro. You may look into getting a small Pro Tools LE or Pro Tools M-Powered system by Digidesign for recording vocals.
