You can't. Lol. No one has been really working on Pinstripe for a really long time and it's gotten full of really old code and files. It's going to need some major work by someone who knows what they're doing.
There is a guy who supposedly ported some of Arronax's themes for Firefox on OS X to Windows, but he hasn't responded to emails.

Autumnmist is right. Pinstripe for Windows has really fallen by the wayside. IMO, it's not really worth going back to 1.0.* just to use Pinstripe.
My suggestion is to start using Safire. It's possibly the best theme available for Firefox right now, and I'm including code quality and author support among the criteria.
@UR Free - It's a REALLY bad idea to go back to Firefox 1.0. There were a handful of REALLY critical security flaws that have been fixed since then and you'd be leaving yourself open to all of them by going back to Firefox 1.0
