vitasg--Paying someone to modify your avatar is a bit...excessive. Obviously, you should pay Timan since you told him you would (if he's interested, though $20 is quite a large amount), but it's a bit...unusual.
And there's nothing wrong with LoofyGun's avatar 
. I'm sure he's capable of modifying it himself.

Well, the request itself was rather unusual. The offer of money was made half in jest, although of course I will honor my offer to Timan provided he comes through. But really i was just seeing whether an incentive would be necessary. If someone wants to step forward for no compensation, please do so by all means. Though that, to me, would seem the more unusual; spending one's time and effort on someone else's avatar. How about, anyone: 'Tis the season of generosity after all, isn't it?
In the meanwhile, let's consider this thread -- if I may be so bold to suggest, Mod -- closed, shall we?

I made it simply to get a quick laugh, you said pimp my avatar and I did exactly that. You don't need to offer money to people here to get an avatar, we have some great contributing members that would help you out just cause you post here.
OMG!! Thank you, Timan. I appreciate that. Actually though, again, i just said it on a whim myself. Had no idea it would generate the response it has. And, you'll pardon me, but when I said I would pay you in my post above, "provided you came through", I actually meant to write Fascist, whom I thought, perhaps naively, was seriously considering the proposal, half in jest though it may have been. In any event, no, I was not and am not going to pay you for yours, though I enjoyed it very much.
Can we put this to rest now? If someone wants to do it, again, please buy all means step forward and make an offer (or not).

But Simon, that's one of the hardest joints to heal, next to the elbows and the ankles. My mom broke both of her ankles in August. She's now on permanent disability.
