Not that I can code any line, but I just wonder... do you have to do a docklet that plays MP3s... or would it be easier to do a "remote docklet" (I think Moby Dock has one?) for WinAmp, passing the controls through to use Winamp??

That's an "old" project for mobydock... a remote control menu for winamp 2.x that requires a special plugin (to enable remote access, that is). I abandoned working on the project after mobydock came with winamp and wmp remote control, but still using it. 
This is an awesome idea for a much needed docklet.
Either an Mp3 docklet or a Winamp/Winamp3/QCD/MMJ control docklet would kick ass. I just hope it'd be compatible with Winamp3 as most control type stuff arent compatible with WA3.
btw ken, that project of your is very interesting. Why not make it for YzDock?
It works in all docks... it's still a bit buggy though. If you want to try it, I could prepare it for you.
