Hey everyone,
I was thinking what defines Aqua now? Are it the colours? Or the kind of clean and simple designs without all too much crap? 
I have made some themes and stuff, like these ones:
Gehenna.be not yet a theme but you might get the impression
Covenant.be soon.
Now I know I make some kind of dark styles, but I keep it simple too.. With some glass effects.. Does that makes this Aqua? Or should I turn it blue to be called Aqua?

Heavens no.. I really want to make something Aqua, I just don't know what it really is.. And I just show those designs because I want to know if they are Aqua or not? That way I know if I can release those themes on this forum.
I hate it when people start acting rude when I'm trying to do something useful here by releasing a theme and making sure I post it in the right section.
looks more vista-like to me.... but could be that all the vista ambience is finally driving me mad

OK, just to clear this up for everybody...
This theme is a mod of That Vista Blog, and I give CriplingDream full permission to redistribute the theme provided that the conditions of the CC license are followed.
As it turns out, CriplingDream obtained my theme from another site re-distributing my work without my permission. This is bad for a number of reasons:
* It ends up hiding the original copyright details
* It creates confusion about license terms
* Reduces traffic that should be legitimately directed to my site.
On a related note, my site's domain redirection and SQL database are both down right now, so don't bother reporting it to me - I already know
Black and red is not Aqua--a big part of it is the blue color and the Glass.

Aqua is a trade name for the graphical user interface (GUI) of Apple Computer's Mac OS X operating system and the primary theme used in this GUI (the other theme being brushed metal). It is based around the theme of water, as its name suggests, with droplet-like elements and liberal use of translucency and reflection effects. Indeed, in version 10.4 of the operating system, a ripple appears as a Dashboard widget is placed on the screen, harking back to the namesake of the GUI. As a theme, Aqua is the successor to Platinum, which was used in Mac OS 8 and Mac OS 9. Much of Aqua's original design was intended to complement the look of the original plastics of the iMac and Power Macintosh G3/G4 desktop models, but as Apple has moved to the use of brushed metal in their industrial design, Aqua itself has changed to incorporate the additional brushed metal look. This somewhat inconsistent mix of interface styles has been controversial among the Mac OS X user community.
Two primary features of Aqua are the gel-like buttons (colored red, yellow, and green) that control the windows, and the Dock, which facilitates the launching of and navigation between applications.
The two main styles of windows that Aqua includes are the standard pinstriped and brushed metal windows. Both the standard pinstriped windows and the brushed metal windows appear to have the navigational buttons sunken into the window, however in versions of Mac OS X prior to 10.2, the buttons appeared to be on top of the pinstriped windows. Brushed metal windows also have more plastic-like buttons. Mac OS X also allows users to choose a Graphite version instead of an Aqua version of the interface. (In Graphite, window controls appear silverish-grey instead of red, yellow, and green.)
