latest update: 2005 11 29: Ver 1.01 (matching to the release of Fx 1.5)

whats new:

- better code (more symetric buttoncode)

- 2 new subskins:

* for those who don't like the blue and white stripes (in the tree view):

add @import url("chrome://global/skin/subskin/nozebras.css"); to your userChrome.css (before the @namespaceline, as always...) and your userContent.css

* for those who prefer a blue urlbar-dropmarker: add @import url("chrome://global/skin/subskin/blueurldropmarker.css"); in your userChrome.css (before the @namespaceline, as always...)

- small bugfixes

- and the difference between 1.0 (online till 6pm CET) and 1.01: classicgo.css Subskin was broken in 1.0

Work on what? The only problem with Safire that I can still think of is the fact that if you open the download manager in a tab, the theme still displays some default icons.

I'm not seeing any such problems. Can you be more descriptive?

And you can always post a comment on the Safire/Safire Milk Devart page. The author is pretty good about taking suggestions.

1. X button on tabs are squished vertically, not as tall as they should be.

2. I'd like to replace the compactmenu button with my own, where and in which .jar do I find the file to replace? Never mind this one, I found the file.

Uses WinRAR or other zip program to extract the "scrollbars" folder in "global". Then view the JAR of safire milk. Go into the "global" directory and delete the "scrollbars" folder, then drag the safire "scrollbars" folder in it's place.

It's easier than my explanation. Themes aren't too hard to modify.

It sounds like you've misedited your userchrome.css file. Open it up and remove this line:

@import url("chrome://global/skin/subskin/sunkenaqua.css");

I was having a problem, every time I change themes and then switch back to any of the SaFire and/or the SaFire Milk all of my settings get changed. I get all of these extensions menus, and I have to readjust the settings. Could anyone help me out? It's an awesome theme, but not worth having to readjust everytime. Please help me!

What do you mean by "my settings get changed?" It's just a theme switch: none of your configuration settings should be altered. Could you elaborate?
