I removed my File, Edit, etc menu some time ago with a registry edit.
Now, I have done everything I can think of to get it back so I can fix a few things, but nothing I do works. In fact, ALL my menus are gone and dont even work in ObjectBar half the time.
So, please, dont tell me to turn off OB, and yes, I know the string in RegEdit, but it seems to be missing data...and it doesnt have the dash in front of it.
Anyone profficient on this?
try to replace the modded dll`s with the one from your windows cd...
Is it the variable in RegEdit missing?
I understand that missing variable can be restored by just creating a new one.

I have had problems with the registry before, and i hate it!
I would recomend you to try fixing it with your windows installation cd, an see if that works. If that doesnt work, try send an mail or ask in the forum over at Winguides. They are skilled poeple and i think they can helt you out. Good Luck!
