[help] Aqua Soft - What is the Start Page made with?

Hi. My name is Luke Vink, and I am a web designer.

Considering I am more into the field of graphic design, I would like to know what the builder of Aqua Soft used for the "updates" section on the front of this site. I would like to use this feature as a weblog on my website, so that I can use my own style.

If you know, please tell me via email or this post. Cheers.

This has nothing to do with general discussion and should have been posted in Web Design/Development. I will not repeat this.

Just because there is a "General Discussion," that doesn't mean that you can put just anything in there. If there is a forum that applies to your topic, that's where you post. "Ignorance is not an excuse."

Anyways, yes, Aqua-Soft uses WordPress for their front page. I do recall seeing something about the recent forum posts was posted in the comments and suggestions forum some time ago (if that is what you were referring to). WordPress automatically makes the 'archives' and 'categories' on the right hand side.

Some hosts now impliment WordPress into their servers so you can simply click 'install' or something similar to start it, you should be able to go from there with little or no explanation. If not, you may have to download WordPress at wordpress.org and install it manually.

If you have a host which allows FTP access, it is easy to install it and then set up your MySQL Server. The included instructions are very clear.

Like people have said, wordpress.org is your friend.
