Very sexy design.
You may want to soften the 'glow' on the red, though, to coincide with the softer appearance of the buttons.
Also, maybe raise the opacity of the shadow on the black text so it doesnt blend in so much. Even raising it a pixel or 2 might help.
Great work, though. It will be nice to see how it progress's.
It looks nice, but I would make those buttons a little bit more Aqua-ish. Like maybe some gloss instead of a gradient, then use the "Dodge" tool with a large brush (soft-edged) to get the highlight.
