[help] What is that magnifer-glass icon in taskbar?

I love the mac design but never try the system once ~

After downloading flyakite i found that at the right hand side of the tool bar, besides the clock, there is a magniflying glass thing (looks like search thing) what does it do ?

Do i require to install other software to make it work?

It doesn't work, but it makes it look more like OSX. There's a clone of spotlight made by Andreas for Avedesk, you can get it here: Searchbar Desklet

In true mac, it's SPotlight, it a true full system search at your finger tupe.

It's the best search style out there. I ,myself, use it alot. Alot easier to find files.
