Object Dock Backgrounds/Skins

Has anyone done any yet..Please post them here...

Though just reading that this release shouldn't be available and the next release will have better skin settings, should we wait or skin now, what does everyone think, as i have started to play with a few skin ideas, like aqua stripes..

Hey everyone...just wanted to give you a sneak peek at the finished Dock Lawn port for ObjectDock:

In case you haven't been following the thread in the Y'z section, I have gotten permission from Matthew Bice of iheartny.com to port his themes to the Windows platform for use with the various dock applications. This is just the first of many! It will be availible for download soon on my site. Thanks for your support.

i made an Aqua transparent background with a transparent separator ...

couse objectdock 5.1 background was great and transparent.

and im using aqua skins all over my win2k server...

it has strips... the background.

where can i post then ?? the two png´s ???

I was able to convert a couple themes from the iheartny site (lawn, frostbite, and waterbath):

I don't know of the legality of posting the background files though as I didn't get permission from that site... :unsure:

i've tried opening the icns files with everythingi can think of, and can't get anything good from them..

I used icon workshop (http://www.axialis.com/iconworkshop/index.html). Open the file in icon workshop, there you see a few different sizes (i guess there are multiple versions on the icon saved in each icns file). Right click on the 128x128 size icoon and export to a png or photoshop file so you can work with it as a background or foreground.

What I did was just use the back ground and foreground icns files. There are also left and right foreground and background files but i just ignored them.

Asapin what did you use to expand the *.gz files to *.icn on ihearty, i use stuffit, works fine for .sit etc but not *.gz?...FIXED, Just needed to rename *.gz to *.tgz..doo

I used winrar. I thought I was going to have to reinstall stuffit, but the file was recgognized in explorer by winrar. You can find it at download.com i think.

I have winrar too, but both stuffit and winrar unzip say download.gz to download, no .icns or any extension.

I can't for the life of me configure those to work on objectdock...the links you had were likes to an image of the dock itself...not the background files. Am i missing something?

I really would love the snow...great for where I'm from
