[help] iTunes not working

Ok hi guys, my first post here, i am currently using Windows XP Home edition and i have downloaded iTunes 6.0 (whatevers the newest). But when i double click on the icon the 'iTunes Software License Agreement' box pops open but then almost immediately closes not giving me a change to click Agree. I have tried version 4.9 and 5.0 but they wont open at all. Some people have suggesten using RegEdit and also reinstalling the whole of Windows.. (i dont think so!) if anybody has any ideas please tell because i have had it like this for more than 2 weeks and am desperate to get it working again. Thanks

I should have warned you about double posting.

That can get you in a wee bit of trouble here.

So the benefit of other here who may not be aware of your iTunes situation, I've asked borci88 to come here from the AppleTalk Australia forums (mac dominated).

Users there suspect a malware issue. It's possible, by why would malware target iTunes?

Hopefully someone else here knows better.
