Aqua-Soft ForumsDoes anybody know how to change a Windows cursor to look like the Mac Cursor? I have tried simply using the black cursor provided in Windows XP but it's not as refined as the Mac cursor. I don't have WinRAR I have winzip so I can't download any WinRAR files. Can someone possibly send it to me? Thanks.

Why dont you try winace, it's a shareware alternative that can be used for longer than 30 days and supports .rar decryption. You'll need to find the cursors: just look at osx-e.com, they have nice mac-like cursors!
FilZip is an excellent, free WinRar alternative

And yeah, www.osx-e.com has the cursors. See if you can hunt them down; if not, I'll provide you a link.

Phat-LizOrd, I appreciate the RESPONSE!!!. But did it ever occur to you that maybe the reason I used a bigger font was simply that it is easier on the eyes for both the writer and the reader? Hmmm... :slant: There was no intention to make you RESPOND FASTER.

Ivan, I have a question for you: Were you ever in the Special Olympics or did you ride the short yellow bus to school? Your about as bright as a box of rocks. :slant: Forgive me for not being as tech savy or computer geekie like you. In case you haven't noticed the internet is saturated with Winzip, not WinRAR. In fact I only recently heard of WinRaR. When I checked it out I had to pay for it to use it. No Thank you. So Mr. all knowing Ivan that is why I don't have WinRAR. If other options were out there I didn't no about them until now. Someone (obviously no kin to you) told me about Zip Genius, a
program that supports WinRAR and Winzip formats. If you think I'm so dumb why didn't you at least attempt to help a dummy like me out?
Did it ever occur to you that maybe all I no about is WinZip and I might be new to computers all together? In the future Mr. all knowing Ivan if someone post a question, respect the fact that what might be common knowledge to you might not be to someone else and refrain from insulting that person.
You know something all knowing Ivan, I could respect you if at least after you made that remark you attempted to remedy the situation but you posted a childish insult (By the way there is no way in hell you can be over 12yrs old) and left. LOL. What's that all about? Oh and by the way I just added you to my iggy or better known as ignore list so you can continue to revert to your childish behaviour.

Thank you so much for this info. I thought I was going to have to pay for Winzip before the trial ran out. I read a very good review on this software from Cnet and many users who really like this program. 
I'm sorry, internetworld7, but your behavior is just as bad as Ivan's. Despite his (harmless) insult, you shouldn't respond in kind, nor should you respond with such inappropriate statements as

I'm not excusing Ivan's behavior (which, considering some of the stuff you see on other forums, isn't really all that bad), but you could simply have responded with something along the lines of "Ivan, I never downloaded any Rar decompression application because I never had any files that needed one; most of the compressed files I've downloaded are .zip files."
And if you have a problem with something or someone, use the Report feature. Don't post back, as you're likely exacerbating the problem.
Just a cautionary note.

I find it very interesting that you can say things as, "considering some of the stuff you see on other forums, isn't really all that bad" and "Despite his HARMLESS insult" "you could simply have responded with" nightcrawler, you really have some nerve telling me how I should respond to an idiot who insulted me by blatantly refering to me as "stupid" when I posted a simple question and then saying it's not "all that bad" nightcrawler, have you lost your mind? Are you really thinking about what you are saying before you say it? Like placing your high on the horse self in my shoes? Can you show me anywhere in this forum where I have been insulting or rude to other members for no reason or unprovoked? nightcrawler, let's not lose perspective here. I posted a simple question and was insulted by someone I don't know any more than you. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I have a right to be a little upset. Especially when I thought that this forum wasn't the sleezy type you find all over the internet. If this was that kind of website or forum I would never would have posted in the first place.
It's as if your excusing the guys actions and condoning it. Are you and Ivan buddies or something?
