Simple FTP Upload Applet?

I didn't know where to post this, so whatever .

Anyway I'm looking for a simple app that I can drop a file onto and have it upload to a specific folder on my server. I'm currently using the miniFTP Konfabulator widget. It's great, but I want something that doesn't require me to run Konfabulator.

Even if I could just drag the file onto the apps icon and have it silently upload without opening the program that would be nice.

theres an ftp desklet for avedesk if you want to switch to that instead on konfabulator.. I used to use it and I remember it worked perfectly

I believe you can drag files directly onto shortcuts icons created from Windows' My Network Places. Would that suit your needs?

* Go to My Network Places and create a new network place

* Specify the ftp address like this: [b]ftp://url.goes.here

* For automatic login, specify: [b]ftp://username:password@url.goes.here/

* Drag the new network place to your desktop.

Now you should be able to drag files directly to the desktop icon.

You can move this icon pretty much anywhere.

For easy access, yoy could put one in your quicklaunch, or your sendto folder.

Haha, thanks. That's funny cause I had actually created the link in Network Places to my ftp. I didn't think about just putting the link in my quick launch and dragging onto it. Thanks

Lol, I knew you would like that. I'm recommending it to my friends, and they love it. I opened up my dell and they saw the Mac loading screen, it was hilarious.
