Aqua-Soft ForumsEverytime i click avedesk.exe...my Physical Memory goes through the roof and my cPU usage goes up to 50%....then after a while it just says the program crashed...(send error report to microsoft). It was working fine 2 days ago...now this! I NEED ME ICONS! LOL...someone plz help. 2 days ago i was using Avedesk 1.1...then i switched to 1.3. I went back to 1.1 and the same thing was happening...i also tried 1.2. BLEH! :slant:
Problem
perhaps you should do a complete uninstall. even get rid of the "C:Documents and Settings(your user name)Application DataAveDesk" (which contains your settings and stuff) folder. then do a fresh install of 1.3, and see how it works. one reason to update various software that you use is because the programmer will have fixed stability issues the enduser will be unaware of. so unless the new version doesn't have some feature than you MUST have, there's really no reason you should be using an old version.

How about some proper system info, what desklets are you running, how to reproduce the bug and other "un-needed" stuff like that?

Wow, thank you Sakura...you solved my problem. Sorry for not following the rules. I just was just in the "Heat of the moment" and posted right away. I deleted the Avedesk folder from my application Data and it runs fine now. Now I can continue to mod my desktop 
Im not really sure what caused this problem. I guess it might have been cuz i was running an earlier version then switched to a newer one. But anywho...Sakura-domo...Props to you. PROPS TO YOU!
