[Help] Fonts appear odd in NeXplorer

As the title says, my fonts appear odd in NeXplorer. They are chunky and appear to be rendering slightly off. However, this is remedied by opening the "Change Font" window, and selecting the already-in-use font. Does anyone have any idea why it does this (I realized the developer is long gone), or any remedies?
