im using dimage's wallpaper and there seems to be a color distortion with some of my colors (white) and clear with the black part on the bottom

if I remember correctly, the winamp skin you are using had the possibility to change between different substyles. some of them didnt have the boarder.
but I ask.. what's the problem here?
I see no problem with it either. Unless you're not happy with the glass effect or something like that.
