I used to know how to do this... but seem to have forgotten. I want to change my screen resolution to one that in not "standard". I've done this in the past by editing a registry key but can't seem to remember what it is... I've scoured the Net but can find it... anyone have any ideas?
[help] Change screen resolution via registry
This is a random guess based on a quick internet search (I got different regkeys, none of which existed on my system)
HKCUSoftwareATI Technologies IncDeviceProfileselected <--This is UNLIKELY
HKCCSystemCurrentControlSetControlVideo
Just keep branching down from there, and you should be able to find it (they're under XResolution and YResolution--LOOK AT ALL THE OPTIONS under video.
Since I'm not quite certain, I wouldn't recommend this :slant:...and complete backup of course, both of registry and System Restore.
Go for it!
Hope this helps,
