What a nice take on milk! It seems to me that the taskbar could do with a little extra attention, and I'm not to crazy about the taskbar-window-changer-what-do-u-call-it either (see pic). But that's all minuscule things compared to the beauty of this theme.

Thanks for the VS, and the update. There is, however, a problem with inactive buttons. Please see the attached thumbnail. You may need to magnify it several times to see the exposed "magic pink" pixel.
P.S. By the way, feel like pumping out a Winamp skin to match? I also have a Modern Contact List config for Miranda that you might be interested in including the in package. Please PM me if you'd like it.

And I found millions of different uxtheme.dll's, but none of them seem to work. My computer has been having multiple, random problems... -___-

well, I use Home edition, SP2. soon I will be using x86 OS X... *ahem* I didn't say anything!
I follow the README file, but as soon as I get the Appearance tab opened, I try to select Milk Unified as my theme, but it just doesn't show up. I only have Windows Classic style (which doesn't work... that might be a problem), Windows XP style, and Media Center style.
So i guessed that you may have MCE , wrong me 
and i know that MCE theme is available too:lol:
Google with your error message, or search here, if not try posting a new topic (with the info u gave me on DA)

Thanks kavin for the quick fix, and for considering the Winamp skin. I have two versions of the Miranda clist and will email them to you shortly.
although i'm very picky when it comes to milk themes, I just love this!
I do have a small bug, though:

I have this problem on almost every window... Would be glad if this could be fixed
