[req] Keep and ave-ify desktop icons

Hi,

I'm a ****ie for AveDesk, the request might be lame.

Is there a chance to keep and beautify desktop icons? I like the desklets I can use, but I heavily use the desktop other ways as well.

I fancy to have some of my folders out there - I know it can be done with Avedesk as well hiding the real desktop icons, but I love to save files I work with (from my browser or from my mail client) to the desktop. They stay there until I need the, then I move them to My Documents or My Pictures.

However I want them to have nice and big icons, with the same kind of labels. Now I use IconX, but if I used AveDesk, I don't want to run IconX in parallel, as it alon might consume 18-20 megs of memory, which I'm short of. (512 for win2k, photoshop, firefox, OD+, etc. is not too much)

So my question is if there can be a desktop icon beautifier function in Avedesk / widget / desklet / whatever.
