Nearly Complete!

There are just a few things that I need solved in order to get my computer to look somewhat in the more realistic area of Tiger...whoo, even though I know there will be new things to come and so the project will never be finished.

But for the time being, I need some help on a few things:

- Safari...two things actually, regarding 1) getting rid of the 'File Edit View Go...' menu AND ensuring that it works in ObjectBar & 2) Getting a match between the safarifox skin + windowblinds skin. One is polished and one isn't is the problem.

- ObjectBar - change the highlight of the mouse. Like you know in Windows appearance, you go to 'selected items' and change that color? How do you change that on the drop down menus in ObjectBar?

- iCal - This one isn't gonna get fixed I don't expect it to. Whenever I download the iCal application (the one displayed on Osx-e.com), I open it via WinRAR (and have also saved then opened) and I get the iCal program, but the scrollbar is distorted and I can't see the entire bottom half of the program (even if I resize). I have .net 1.1.

- One more little thing - whenever I open Firefox, I have to minimize it to the dock and restore it again before I can type anything in ANY text field. For instance, if I wanted to type in www.google.com upon start of Firefox, I would have to minimize and restore before I could do so. Any ideas?

Help on any of these topics would be greatly appreciated. :cool:

#1 is possible. Search for a tutorial in a thread created by sakurakira.

#2 is impossible. Mozilla apps do not work correctly with ObjectBar.

1. The compact menu extension will allow you to remove the "file edit etc" menus, but there is absolutely no way that I know of to get applications like ObjectBar to steal the menus from mozilla apps. Mozilla must do its menus differently or something, 'cause it just plain doesn't work.

I'm afraid I can't help on the others.

Yeah, I'm told Mozille writes its menus in XHTML or some web language that OB won't grasp.

a few things:

1) after using the Compactmenu extension, there is a gap between the maintitle bar and the address bar/buttons and etc.

2) how do you get rid of the Firefox icon that appears on the maintitle?

3) The little activity/loading icon in the top right hand corner (above the google entry) is actually a half of a button, how do I fix it?

1. the menubar is still there, try putting your buttons, addressbar, etc up there and hiding the nav bar.

2. Search, there's a lot of threads about it, and I'm too lazy to remember what to do.
