any plans for a somatic vs for windows?

Hi all,

Anyone know if there's any plans for a somatic vs for windows? I'm sooo interested in the orange ver...just ain't enough nice styles with orange in em.

Ahhh but this needs the Styler program in order to work doesn't it? I actually dl'd that file and stuck it in the resourcesthemes folder, but I notice it doesn't have a shell folder, and it's not showin up in StyleXP.

I do love the style, but i already wasted money on stylexp, before I knew about patchin the uxtheme.dll file for free so I really don't wanna fork out another $15 at this point.

no it doesnt need styler to work. if you have patched your system with the free uxtheme patch, it will work if you stick it in windowsresourcesthemes. a theme doesnt need a shell to work. if it doesn't have a shell it will just use default visual style colors.

put the Somatic.msstyles in a folder named Somatic, and you will see it in Display preperties. in order for it to show up, the folder must be named the EXACT same thing as the .msstyle file. example: "omgwtbbq.msstyle" goes in a folder named "omgwtbbq".

now if you want to use the albino AND the normal version, you might have to rename one of them if they are both "Somatic.msstyle". but don;t worry, that wont interfere with the opperation of the theme.
