Aqua-Soft Forumsavedesk is a nice Program for the start, but a bit big to work with, sometimes.
As an alternative I fetched a license of Deskmount by Daan Kets. Thsts a nice little Program that does not much more than place an Icon for each Drive on the Desk - incl. a working Automount-feature and "Eject-when-Shortcut-Deleted"- Functionality.
But the major drawback compared to avedesk is that the drives Positions aren't oranized - they are placed on the desktop just like WinXP likes...
So I'm looking for a Program that saves the Icon-Positions even when the Icon dis- and reappeares.
All similar programs I know don't work with automounting Icons.
So I'm asking, has anybody the wits 
to do such a program or can tell me the name of wone working this way?
