[help] Visual Basic Programmers Wanted For New Project!

I have already started building a finder clone which is already turning out better than most of the clones around. Instead of this being a fully individual program, it does rely on things like windowblinds for skinning and will be completely user programmable.

I would like someone who has past experience with visual basic who can help me on the simple things that im not brushed up on, like drag'n'drop and user-created listviews.

If you think you can help me, and give something towards this community, drop me a line below!

I can beta test and debug, but I'll be of no help with the algorythms and raw coding.

Do you have msn so i can send you the idea so far?

#330216

Although I have zero time atm, I can help with hints and experience based tips'n tricks as soon as you hit a wall - as long as we are talking about VB6...

Yea we are talking VB6, ive got a great idea and have implemented it quite well, but because im not a great programmer, i have a few usability issues. Let me know if you have MSN

This program is coming along very nicely, I have a few problems and i wonder if any VB6'ers could help.

At the moment the list of shortcuts on the left hand-side (like Finder) are not within a list. I need to know how i create a custom list so that it will accept images and the text, and each list item be draggable up and down.

Also, if anyone knows much about transparency of images and how to achieve transparency without using icons i would benifit alot from it.

otherwise, the program is looking really good and is extremely fast compared to other finder clones!

Got a great beta version, would like some advice to further it, or some people to test it.
